For many years I have lived and traveled throughout several parts of Asia. Throughout these years I developed a passion for Asian antiques, collectibles and handicrafts. I am not an expert in Asian antiques and usually buy for the aesthetics of a piece. If I am unsure about the age of a certain piece I will say so. I endeavor to learn as much as I can about each piece before displaying it on this web site. Asian artifacts can be extremely difficult to age; Burma for example has a roaring trade in wooden Buddhas and puppets and they are very good at aging them, having said this, there are still genuine antique pieces to be found.
