Aeroemblem has been in the direct mail order business for over twenty years. We pride ourselves in getting your mail order in and out as fast as possible. With over 40 years experience in collecting patches, and over 25 years of trading, buying, and selling patches in the mails, Jerome Polder has gained a reputation of trust, fairness, and honesty in the realm of Air Force patch collecting. From his first Blue-Ribbon win in the Second Grade in 1953, with his Hobby Day display, through his monumental ten year effort on The Comprehensive Illustrated Guide To United States Air Force Pocket/Shoulder Insignia book series, Jerry Polder has left his mark on the hobby of Air Force Insignia collecting. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduate of Withrow High School, Jerry entered the USAF in 1964. Twenty years of service and tours of duty in Pakistan, Germany,Vietnam, Italy, Taiwan, and several stateside assignments made for a well traveled and experienced individual. Jerry retired from the USAF in 1985, as a Senior Master Sergeant First Sergeant. He then worked for the USAF as a Civil Service Instructor for an additional seven years. Jerry earned Associate in Applied Science degrees in Electrical Systems Technology, and Instructional Technology from the Community College of the Air Force at Maxwell AFB, Alabama. He further received an Associate degree in Mid-Level Management from Vernon Regional Junior College in Vernon, Texas, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas. Post Graduate work was accomplished at North Texas State University. Current projects include the continuation of his book series by completing supplement books to the illustrated volumes, as well as, work on his second full color book on Air Refueling Squadrons of the United States Air Force.
