Hanselmann Pottery was founded in Corrales, New Mexico in 1970. The present partners, Fritz and Tim Allen, took over the operation in 1992. The new shop at 4908 Corrales Road in the Heart of Corrales was finished in 1996. It consists of a 1000 square foot retail outlet, a 5000 square foot production facility, and an 1800 square foot kiln yard featuring three 300 cubic foot reduction fired downdraft kilns. There are also several other businesses in the Hanselmann Center including a quilting shop and restaurant. Hanselmann Pottery patterns have been produced for many years, and most pieces purchased in the past ten to fifteen years can be replaced from open stock. It is estimated that over the years Hanselmann Pottery has shipped on the order of a million pieces. Hanselmann Pottery is generally shipped by UPS Ground, which requires a physical address for delivery. You are not charged for this service. Other faster options are available, including UPS Air and Fed X. You will be charged our cost for these services. Generally an order is shipped within a week, though some may take a bit longer. A sheet detailing the care of your Hanselmann Pottery pieces is included with your order.
