Hi, my name is Francis Wee and I am from Singapore. The numismatic and Philatelic items listed here represent a part of my collection. My numismatic collection is primarily centered within the Asian region and items that ended up in Asia through barter and trade. The China, Far East and Spice trade was enormous and was the engine of economic growth for the world at that time. Silver and gold coins were used to fund this trade; these form a large part of my collection. Going further back in time, the numismatic history of Asian countries such as ancient China and India and other extinct states stretching back to 2500 BC also feature on this site. The opportunity for research and collecting possibilities is especially fertile for numismatists that are collectors of Asian material. In comparison to Europe and North America, the Asian region, in my opinion will be the next center of attention for collectors. I firmly believe that this is where international numismatists and philatelist will focus their attention in the years to come.
