Over 25 years ago, I decided to collect my fathers WWII Medals and give them to him for Christmas. The task took over 9 months even with being on active duty and I had to go to the French Government for one of his Medals! The cost to frame them gave me a heart attack - but they were a great hit with Dad and the entire family. To our surprise, several other family members asked me to do their Medals. When I groused and grumbled, Linda said, You know, theres a need for a company to do this for Veterans and their families - and from that idea, Medals of America was born!
