AngelStar was started by chance in 1991 when an employee made a “mistake”. We had a retail store in our small home town of Morgan Hill, California. One day during the Gulf War, while we were at lunch, our one and only employee Marjorie sold one of our best customers a small Angel pin attached to a yellow ribbon. The pin was not an item we carried in our store. It was actually a personal item that one of the owners made for herself and had left at the counter by accident. Marjorie sold this little pin for 5 times its worth - To one of our best customers while we were out. When we called the customer to explain the mistake so she could return the pin for a refund, she did not want to return it for any reason. It held so much meaning to her that there was no way she wanted a refund, or to return it. Little did Marjorie or the customer realize that by this one “mistake” they would inspire us to consider manufacturing and selling our own exclusive designed products. They both inspired what would eventually become AngelStar. Since our humble beginnings we have strived to create unique and meaningful designs that touch the heart. Our goal is to create “Angels for Everyone”. Throughout this catalog you see the continued unfolding journey of our company. We are proud to offer our latest inspirations for your consideration and sharing. It is appropriate that we acknowledge and thank everyone who has made this incredible journey possible. First of all we thank God & the Angels for inspiring each of us in so many ways. We also thank the unimaginable number of people who have chosen the AngelStar line as gifts to share, or bought Angels for themselves; The many people who are telling other people about our products; Retail stores trusting enough in the line to order from us; Store employees displaying items at counters, stocking shelves and talking to customers; All of our AngelStar friends & employees; The wonderful factories that produce our exclusive products with such incredible detail and care; The representatives & distributors who offer our line; Photographers, printers, shippers, and all the many people behind the scenes getting the job done so that we can do what we do. What started with one little “mistake” has rippled out into the world in amazing ways and touched millions of lives. It is impossible to name or even imagine the many people involved in this incredible experience, but we send our appreciation & thanks to everyone.
