The Gray Area actually lies in a small town in North Carolina. This is where Dawn Tomeski and Steve Embrey have conjured up a way of creating a unique line of figurines and home accessories. By Using the talents of an accomplished sculptor such as Gray, with many satisfied collectors across the country, and whose work has been displayed in some of the areas finest shops, galleries, and museums, the Gray Area was realized. They commissioned specially designed pieces and cast them into the roles of statues, plaques, lamps and mirrors. While weaving in a layering technique that produces a variety of textures and colors including Copper, Pewter, and antique stone, and then adding hand-crafted wood, glass, and natural crystal to the formula, each piece magically transforms into a one of a kind work of art.
