I started doing salvage jobs back in 1972 as part of the Mid-American Wrecking Corporation. By 1974 I began selling salvaged building materials under the business name Materials Unlimited, and our store was born. The showroom spans three floors brimming with antiques, restored fireplace mantels, leaded glass doors, stained & beveled glass windows, salvaged hardware, and other architectural items. We are especially known for our collection of restored period lighting. Fortunately today, historic buildings are more often restored than destroyed, but this does make salvaged details harder to find. We pride ourselves on having one of the nations most impressive collections. It is exceptional and ever changing. Each visit to Materials Unlimited is different since Im always seeking out beautiful & unusual items to offer our customers.
